If you look at 100 individuals starting out at age 25, all believing they will be successful, what happens to them by the time they reach age 65? The statistics are brutal. Out of those 100:

1 will be truly wealthy.

Earl Nightingale called this the great tragedy of the modern era. People are SEARCHING for the answer to financial independence, but they are looking entirely in the wrong direction.

The 5% who succeed do not have a magical advantage. They simply understand and apply The Strangest Secret.

THE EXACT DEFINITION OF SUCCESS

Before you can achieve success, you must define it. Nightingale gives the greatest, cleanest definition ever recorded:

"Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal."

If you have a clear goal—if you know exactly what you are working toward and are actively moving toward it constantly—you are a success. If you are operating a B-Quadrant system and progressively building your residual asset, you are already successful. You are not waiting for a destination; the success is in the pursuit of the goal. The person working at the corner gas station because that is exactly what they planned and wanted to do is a success. The person who has no goal and just goes through the motions of existence is a failure.

THE SECRET REVEALED

Throughout human history, the greatest mentors, philosophers, and leaders have disagreed on almost everything. But on this one single, solitary point, they are in complete and unanimous agreement:

We become what we think about all the time.

That is the secret. It is that simple, and it is that terrifying. Your mind is the greatest, most powerful instrument on earth. If you think in negative terms, you will manifest negative results. If you think about poverty, lack, and fear, your reality will reflect exactly that.

But if you plant a clear, positive, defined goal in your mind, and you think about it constantly, you will inevitably become it.

THE LAW OF THE MIND (THE LAND)

Nightingale compares the human mind to a farmer’s land. The land does not care what you plant in it. It will yield exactly what you sow.

If a farmer plants two seeds—one seed of corn, and one seed of deadly nightshade (a poison)—and he waters them both, what happens? The land will yield both. It will produce the poison just as massively as it produces the corn.

Your mind operates on the exact same law, but it is infinitely more fertile and complex than the earth. It does not care if you plant success or failure, a worthy ideal or utter confusion. Whatever you plant, and whatever you focus on constantly, the mind MUST produce and give back to you in your physical reality.

THE 30-CYCLE MENTALITY TEST

To break away from the 95% and join the 5%, Nightingale issued a strict 30-cycle challenge. This is the exact blueprint to rewire your mind for the B-Quadrant:

1. Write Down Your Goal: Put your single most important goal on a card. Make it specific. On the back, write: "Ask, and it shall be given you; SEARCH, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Carry this card everywhere. Look at it every single morning, every night, and multiple times throughout your waking hours.

2. Stop Worrying: For 30 consecutive 24-hour cycles, absolutely refuse to think about fear. The moment a negative or fearful thought enters your mind, immediately replace it with the mental picture of your positive, worthy goal. You must take total control of your mental real estate.

3. Give More Than You Expect to Receive: Your financial yield will always be in direct proportion to your service. You cannot get rich without enriching others. Focus entirely on providing massive value and service, and the wealth will follow automatically.

4. Save 10% of What You Earn: Pay yourself first. Take 10% of your income and funnel it directly into the 'I' (Investor) quadrant. SAVE GOLD or SILVER and NOT paper money!

Act as though it is impossible to fail, and failure will become impossible.
